Ather Energy Shares Debut
Ather Energy shares listed on May 6, 2025, at ₹328 on NSE (2.18% premium) and ₹326.05 on BSE (1.57% premium) over the ₹321 issue price.
The ₹2,980.7-crore IPO, closed April 30, was subscribed 1.43 times, led by employee demand.
It included ₹2,626 crore in fresh shares and a ₹354.8-crore offer for sale by founders Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain.
Ather raised ₹1,340 crore from anchor investors.
Funds will support a Maharashtra E2W factory (₹927.22 crore), R&D (₹750 crore), marketing (₹300 crore), and debt repayment (₹40.03 crore).
Ather, a premium electric two-wheeler maker, sold 1.09 lakh E2Ws in FY24, leveraging in-house software and charging infrastructure.
