GAIL Result Shows Steady Revenue Growth
GAIL result reported a 2.1% QoQ revenue increase to Rs 36,551 crore in Q4 FY2025, driven by gas marketing, as announced on May 15, 2025.
EBITDA margin improved by 89 bps to 9%, but PAT fell 47% QoQ to Rs 2,492 crore due to a prior quarter’s one-time arbitration gain.
Gas transmission volumes dropped 4% to 121 mmscmd, impacted by cheaper liquid fuels and shutdowns at KFCL and RCF.
Petrochemical volumes rose 3.6%, with 7% revenue growth.
Gas marketing volumes grew 3% to 107 mmscmd.
GAIL projects 138-139 mmscmd transmission and 118 mmscmd marketing volumes in FY26, with Rs 10,000 crore capex for petrochemical and pipeline expansion.
Trading at 7.8x FY27 EV/EBITDA, it’s a medium-term buy.
